Terms of Service

Last updated: April 25, 2026

Welcome to Job Grid. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Job Grid software-as-a-service platform (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

Job Grid is a workforce time-tracking platform that lets businesses track employee clock-in/clock-out events, manage schedules, and export payroll reports. We may add or remove features over time.

2. Accounts

You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the Service.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Attempt to access another customer's data or interfere with the Service's operation
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service
  • Use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm another person
  • Resell or sublicense the Service without our written consent

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You authorize us (or our payment processor) to charge your payment method automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the Settings page; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We don't issue prorated refunds for partial periods.

5. Free Trial

New accounts may be eligible for a free trial. At the end of the trial, your account will convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends. We'll send a reminder before charging your payment method for the first time.

6. Your Data

You own all data you upload to the Service ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited license to process Customer Data solely to provide the Service to you. We won't sell your Customer Data or use it to train AI models. Each customer's data is logically isolated at the database level so other customers cannot access it.

7. Service Availability

We work hard to keep the Service available 24/7 but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may schedule maintenance windows, and the Service may occasionally experience outages. We're not liable for downtime caused by upstream providers, force majeure events, or issues outside our reasonable control.

8. Termination

You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, fail to pay, or use the Service in a way that risks harm to us or other users. Upon termination, you can export your data for 30 days, after which we may permanently delete it.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any time-tracking data is sufficient for legal compliance with labor laws in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with applicable employment, wage, and hour regulations.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to liability. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. We'll notify you of material changes by email and/or by posting a notice in the Service. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.
